As a Demon Buster, you'll fight demons throughout the world.
Then there are demons that join your side!

Demon Friend Quests

Once your demon reaches Good Friends or higher, you will get the chance to speak with it. Open the demon list to embark on your demon's quest for XP and other rewards, including customizable codenames! Consecutive successes lead to even more goodies. You may complete three DFQs a day.

Demon Rebirth

The master of the Cathedral of Shadows has the special ability to "reset" demon attributes. This ultimate customization feature lets players think outside the box, making a Pixie with great strength, or a Jack Frost with defensive capability! When reset, demons revert to Level 1, so use this feature carefully.

Demon Fusion

Combine two or three demons to create a more powerful companion!

Tokyo Metro

Ghosts still linger in the Tokyo Metro from the days of the Great Destruction. Journey into its depths to challenge ghosts… and other nefarious things! This dungeon is available to seasoned and new Demon Busters alike.

Kuchinawa Cave

Fight Quin-Long and Yamatano-Orochi - one of the most challenging bosses in the game - for a chance to acquire the plug-in for Quin-Long, a powerful demon meant for endgame players!

Celu Tower • Gold

Enter this endgame dungeon to face high-level Deformed and Nightmare demons, floor after floor! Defeat the boss to win powerful treasures like Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer… or acquire the plug-in to fuse Thor himself!

Shin Megami Tensei includes a variety of PvP features.

Team Battles

Friends join together for exciting group-vs.-group combat! Fight for glory and unique gear. You also have the option to fight one-on-one. Open the COMM menu on your COMP to select a team.

VERSUS

VERSUS is a PvP option available to characters Level 30 or higher. Talk to Yaginuma in Nakano to join one of two battles:

FATE: This 15-vs.-15 battle pits players against each other in Fujimi Midgard. Claim 5 Bases-located throughout the field-to gain points and win the game. Every 30 seconds you keep a Base, gain additional points!

VALHALLA: Engage other players in a 5-vs.-5 coliseum battle! Gain points for each player and demon you defeat. The bout ends when one team reaches max points or the time runs out.

When you participate in VERSUS, you and your demon's max HP will increase significantly till the end of the battle. But be careful not to summon a demon mid-battle; it won't receive the bonus this way! Players who participate in VERSUS don't receive XP, death penalties, or durability loss, but they do accrue BP (Battle Points).

Weapon Modifications

Upgrade weapons with consumables, other weapons, and/or armor!

Motorbikes

Visit the mechanics of Shinjuku Babel to ride a special motorbike just for Demon Busters! Cut travel time with the motorbike's boost ability. You can learn to ride one of these puppies by visiting the Terminelle Girl in any of the major cities; just pick up a Rental Motorbike Tickets. Or rent a bike with 10-, 20-, and 30-minute packages.

Item Mixing • Alchemy

Turn lesser items into refined goods! With item mixing, you can use alchemic skills to create goodies with unusual properties. Use recipes to create runes to enhance your demons… or potions for yourself!
